Core & Stretch Zone

An ample space with matting to perform a variety of stretching, breathing and core exercises.

Stretching helps increase your range of motion and general relaxation, while strengthening your core will increase flexibility, improve posture, minimise risk of injury, and reduce back pain and stress.

Power Plate Zone

Whole-body vibration training that stimulates the muscles for an effective toning workout. This sophisticated vibration training device was originally used in space to prevent muscle and bone degeneration in astronauts, and is now used in both the gym and competitive sports for its ability to strengthen bones and muscles, assist with weight loss and improve circulation.

The PowerPlate stimulates the muscles through contractions and increasing the G-forces acting on your body. It sends pulses of kinetic energy upwards through every cell of your body, which in turn increases your exposure to gravity.

Categorised into Energy, Strength, Mind & Body, Aqua and Dance, the classes offer a wide-reaching range of benefits, from stress and blood pressure reduction through to increased energy and muscle tone.

Our spacious, fitness studios feature sports flooring to help minimise injury and air-conditioning to maximise comfort and enjoyment. Many classes are synchronised with our junior Academy programme for the convenience of parents.

Tennis and badminton

Experience our incredible variety of tennis and badminton opportunities, catering for beginners through to advanced, adults and children.

At Aspria Hamburg Alstertal, members can choose to play on five indoor and six outdoor tennis courts, as well as our badminton court.

Our tennis and badminton coaches offer expert tuition for all ages. For our junior members, tuition starts at four years of age, with a range of fun group classes that transition from small to full-size courts in a phased programme, ensuring that each session includes progress and achievement. We also operate tennis and badminton holiday camps during the summer months.

For adult members, our tennis and badminton coaches carefully analyse your current skill level and work together with you to create an appropriate training plan so you can learn in the way that works best for you, whether in a group, alone or in pairs.

There are also regular opportunities to sample our tuition in free taster sessions. Or, if you prefer to just watch the action, order a drink and take a seat on the large sun terrace of our Osteria Aurora restaurant

Swimming

The spectacular, light-filled indoor pools of Aspria Hamburg Alstertal are a great place to relax, exercise or take a group aqua class.

Swimming is one of the most effective exercises; excellent for breathing, flexibility, building muscle and offering support to the entire body, making it ideal for people nursing an injury.

Our spectacular 25m indoor pool is a sublime place to re-energise in a tranquil environment. Expert instructors run a wide range of group classes in a calm and private setting, with exercises that are gentle on the joints, low on impact and great for cardio.
