Conceived by award-winning architects A2D and leading designers Total Interiors, the new subterranean spa experience at AVL seeks to achieve the perfect balance between physical and mental well-being.  Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, the kaleidoscope of rich green hues, draws upon well documented colour psychology, to promote a deep sense of healing and relaxation whilst warm, earthy tones and dark (Indian rosewood/Brazilian Koa Wood) woody accents help to create a warm, tactile and grounding environment. The finishing touch is the double-height ceiling space providing a sense of grandeur and theatricality reminiscent of ancient architect-designed bathhouses.

In order to realise this ambitious vision, Aspria have sought out the finest materials.  Warm natural Ibizan stone is used on the floor and ceiling surfaces whilst bespoke glass tiles have been produced by Ezarri Mosaic, a brand renowned for combining exquisite materials, relentless passion and impeccable craftsmanship.  Beautiful in both form and function, Ezzari have used an innovative production technique to craft a unique tile that adapts to any curve or shape. This thoughtful use of materials not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also contributes to a deeper sense of relaxation and comfort.

Hydro Pool: Spacious semi-crescent hydro pool aids recovery and relaxation with the soothing benefits of rain shower and hydro jet therapy for back and calf massage.

Sauna: A revitalising experience for the body and mind, in a fully reimagined space.

Hammam: A marine-inspired 2-level steam zone, offers a greater range of temperature control and herbal infusions, for a more indulgent and effective steam therapy.

Experience shower: A multi-sensory experience combining a waterfall, mist shower and lighting effects for the ultimate invigoration and stress-relief.

Ice chute: The perfect complement to our new sauna and hammam. The ice chute facilitates the practice of hot and cold therapy (contrast therapy), which aids metabolic activity, boosts strength, reduces fatigue, speeds up recovery and increases mental concentration.
