The Aspria Arts-Loi Institute offers a permanent laser hair removal solution, suitable for all skin types. An ideal opportunity to take a closer look at this innovative technique, popular among athletes, swimmers, and anyone looking for a safe, long-term solution to unwanted hair.

“Permanent hair removal lifts a mental load and improves quality of life. You’re always perfectly groomed, every day.” Camille van der Zee (Head of Spa, Aspria)

Why opt for permanent hair removal?

Whether for aesthetic reasons or to boost sports performance, the battle against body hair is above all about comfort. It saves a significant amount of time in daily life!

“Whether it's for underarms, legs, chest or bikini area, it helps reduce hair density or get rid of it altogether,” explains Camille. Say goodbye to waxing sessions and ingrown hairs!

Laser or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)?

“The Aspria Institute has invested in the latest generation of Epil Pro devices,” Camille proudly announces. She adds: “Laser technology emits a light that is attracted to the melanin in the hair follicle. The heat is focused on the hair and destroys its root. The hair then naturally falls out a few days after the session.” Simple and effective! Laser has many advantages over IPL. Using a very narrow and precisely targeted beam, it requires fewer sessions and significantly reduces the risk of regrowth.

Worried about pain? Don’t be, treatment is mostly painless. You might feel a slight tingling at the root and a warm sensation on the skin. Areas with thinner skin are a little more sensitive, but it’s perfectly manageable. “Keep an open dialogue with your beautician so she can adjust the treatment to your sensitivity,” encourages Camille.

Good to know before you start

You’ll need between 6 to 8 sessions for optimal results, depending on hair density and colour. It's recommended to shave a few days before your appointment and to avoid sun exposure for two weeks before and after the treatment.

The Institute is open to all – both Aspria members and non-members:

  • Monday to Friday: 10 am to 9 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10 am to 6 pm
